Its about a 25 min hike along an edge path and 30 foot climb done. Yes, it can be a little dangerous if you do not pay attention. Other than that it is fine. Make sure you follow the path of previous people who went there. You will see by the worn pathway that sometimes may not appear clear. Just keep on going. There are many area of loose rocks so plus be careful. Once you get to the edge of the pools, there is a climb down and you can see where it is, and again be careful climbing down. No need for rope or other materials. Climbing back up is so much more easier. The pool has 3 areas. On the right is quite shallow. On the left, there are 2 pools there to enjoy. There is sand at the bottom of each however getting to them over the rocks can be challenging. Recommend bring water shoes with you as the rocks can wear down on your feet. Plus, the are baby sea urchins there in black and red. The spiny parts can enter your skin and may not come out so easily. Make sure you have proper footwear for a rocky trail and some scrambling. Also - take water, it can be so hot!
