If I could put zero stars I would, they don’t even deserve one. I visited this horrible establishment to celebrate my birthday, and after 10 minutes of being there I began not feeling well. I was given a hard time by the rude black female receptionist about refunding me and then had to wait 20+ minutes to speak to a manager about receiving a refund. The manager (Roger) responded, “what does that have to do with me?” after telling him that I wasn’t feeling well and only been there for a short period of time. I called to file a complaint on the staff I received poor treatment from while at the establishment, and had an 18 minute conversation with a staff member who was impersonating a manager. This was confirmed to me by the “C.O.O” Pierre Lenoci, who I notified about this incident and he advised me that the owner would reach out me, but never did and that he would not take further action because I received a refund. This establishment only cares about money and not their customers. I specifically complained about the poor treatment from staff, being given false names/information about “policies”, and the impersonation of a manager over the phone, not the refund. Most PROFESSIONAL businesses would fire, reprimand, or at least write up staff for that behavior, but clearly this establishment lacks integrity and professionalism. Also, this establishment keeps (owner) William Welch’s name and direct contact information confidential for some strange reason and I’m assuming this is because they don’t want him to take real action against them. STAY FAR AWAY!!!!

Edit Response to Pierre Lenoci: I NEVER said anything to reception about the presence of wildlife or flying insects and you’re still not acknowledging the poor treatment and rude statements from staff at this establishment. I asked for a boss to be notified regarding my complaint in my initial email request, but then sent Pierre a very detailed email explaining all of the details regarding the poor treatment from staff, false names and “policy” information I was given, and the impersonation of the restaurant manager Dianne over the phone.

Due to google guidelines I had to take down the screenshot of the 17:53 minute phone conversation I had with the receptionist who initially refused to give me her name, then told me her name was Samantha. I was put “on hold” for 3 seconds thinking I was still speaking to “Samantha” and then the woman stated she was Dianne, the restaurant manager. I reported the events that happened to me to the woman impersonating Dianne and then when trying to state how I would like the situation resolved, the call conveniently hung up. There was NO mention of the name Bernie, so now I am positive it was Bernie who gave me the fake name Samantha then proceeded to tell me she was Dianne the restaurant manager. I called back twice and received no answer, so I contacted through email. Also, if you read other reviews, poor customer service from reception specifically is a common theme here.

Anyone reading this please know that they do not take customer complaints seriously and will lie and discredit people in order to escape...

Wow! Stunningly impressive! We wish that we had decided to go earlier than our last day. If they offered lodging, this would be a no brainer.

We had a hard time deciding between the cabanitas (deck chairs with shade) or the cabana (gets you free access to the hiking trails and a discount on zip lining). The catch is that the cabana doesn’t come with deck chairs if you’re into sun bathing. Tough call. If it was just myself and my wife, we would’ve been happy with the cabanitas. In the end, our friends decided to splurge and upgrade to the VIP cabana. That included the cabana, deck chairs, and direct/“private” access to the pool. Although it was nice to feel a little special, the whole place makes you feel special so it wasn’t super important to have splurged.

The service was absolutely outstanding. You have a dedicated server no matter what. Our guy (Joe-Joe) was everything you could ask for. Just superb. And, from observing the goings on around the pool, all of the other servers were just as great. When you see servers jogging and running to and from the kitchen and bar, you know you’re in for some solid service.

We took the short hike and it was great! Very tough climb but worth the work in order to get to the views of Marigot. You absolutely need sneakers with good tread at the least. No sandals. Water is a good idea too. And, a walking stick would probably be helpful. I forgot to ask for one at the desk, but I think they’re available to borrow. We didn’t see very much wildlife other than some small lizards. Though our friend went birdwatching and saw a couple of unique ones that he’d never seen before. The short hike took us about 45 minutes. Again, if we had the opportunity to spend more time, we would have surely gone on the 3ish hour hike.

The food was just right. We ordered the large sampler platter. Great finger foods for poolside. It came with so much more than what it says on the menu. Easily enough food and options for the 4 of us. It could probably feed 6-8 people though. The food is brought to you where you sit and they even set up our table in the water!

We didn’t get a chance to zip line. We also didn’t get to try the main restaurant out. Wish that we had the time.

Couple of other notes. we made reservations and got there first thing. It definitely filled up as the day went on but it wasn’t crazy busy. (Week before thanksgiving) They were happy to accommodate allowing us to store our luggage in their office as we left from there directly to our departing flight. Great people! separate men’s bathrooms for number 1 and number two no shower facilities we brought our own towels. wish they had overnight accommodations! the story behind the property is wonderful and I’m so happy that the owner has decided to develop it the way that they have and not into something more commercial

Overall, this place was paradise. I really can’t say enough. I truly hope to be able to go back as soon...

We did the cabañitas for $85 which also included entry, 2 drinks or bottle of Rosa and server. We picked 2 pina coladas thought the value was very good for everything we received. The service was top notch. For food we had Combo Platter, spice ribs, asian chicken sates, veggie spring roll, accras, shrimp, crab dip and hummus. We ordered the combo platter around 2ish there was so much food it turned into lunch and dinner. I was really impressed with their food.

I didn’t give 5 stars because I was a little disappointed with the overall space/pool I just expected a much larger pool and jungle surrounding the pool area. Oh and I wasn’t allowed to walk across the ladder/bridge in the 9th or 10th picture (only for the DJ)The farm is on 100+ acres. I wish there would have been more areas for pictures as well. This place is gorgeous and service/food/drinks was top notch.

If your debating the chair rental ($25 each)vs cabañitas ($85)do the cabañitas we were so glad that we did. Drinks I think were $9 so getting the two drinks included with the cabañitas was a huge plus.

We also called the day before to reserve to be on the safe side. The cabañitas were all taken by 11:30. We went on a Monday so it was a little to relaxed for my liking. Sunday we should have went for the party.

Staff five stars I loved the woman that handles the sales/checkin and our waiter was so attentive.

Recommendations: cabañitas va chairs, combo platter and TIP the waiters regardless of where you are from they deserve it.

We’d booked the cabanita a few days prior and we’re looking forward to a relaxing afternoon. Our morning did not start out this way since our rental car was stolen so we spent our morning at both the French and Dutch police. I communicated with Loterie farm, they said they could hold our cabanita which we appreciated. We arrived a few minutes after 1pm for the Sunday pool party. The entry person was friendly, apologized for our misfortune( rental cars-esp Hyundais are stolen often so beware!) and promised we’d be in great hands. My husband and I set our stuff down in the cabanita and decided to eat in the restaurant. 2 hours later without food and the large group of people who ordered after us served first, we were beyond frustrated. We went back to the cabanita and told them to bring our food there; we’d wasted enough time while we were paying for the cabanita. Meanwhile, the main pool servers who we’re supposed to take “great care” of us barely noticed we were there. Only 1 runner seemed to care we needed anything. The setting was nice, but it was absolutely not worth the money. They said they were so busy, that’s why we waited so long. But they really weren’t that busy. It just looked like poor execution and high fees. Music was definitely loud and wasn’t that good. DJ kept playing his name mixed within the songs. Overall, It was not something I’d do again. The negative reviews mean something. Someone else described it as trying to be a over-rated Miami day club. I couldn’t agree more. The whole experience was subpar. And there wasn’t a bit of effort to help us have a better time, ie a free drink or slight discount for our poor service. Somehow that little bit of customer service would at least help you feel a bit better with the hundreds of dollars you pay while there.
