English Visited with a friend in August/October 2019 during our D-day Tour through Calais and Normandy. This museum is well hidden and the entrance does not give you any idea what you are about to see. Parking is free and we paid 10 euro p.p. which sounds a bit high but it is definitely worth it. The surroundings of the museum outside are nice to see, multiple guns, vehicles and equipment from the war are displaced in the woods. Then al of the sudden there is this huge massive concrete structure. Really impressive to see. The bunker has a lot of battle damage which is cool to see. You can only enter a smaller part of the bunker, yet it gives you a good idea what was planned here. There are some audio speakers and a film throughout the museum in I thought four languages which gives you specific information on that area in or around the bunker. Simply a amazing place and must see, it took us approximately 1,5 hours to visit this museum.

THIS IS A MUST VISIT IF YOU LOVE WW2 HISTORY! My visit : Visiting this Super Blockhaus was amazing! You walk up the hill to get to the blockhaus. The walk had some pretty awesome war time artifacts. You walk around the whole bunker before you go inside. The inside of the super blockhaus has a couple rooms… the rooms though were insanely massive and spacious. In the rooms it has some Information on the walls and TV screens that also display information.
Outside/surrounding area : has a dozen of artilery guns and anti tank guns. There are also some trucks and some cool WW2 naval items and a mini submarine. There is also a train wagon to sadly simulate how the train ride was to the concentration camps. There are both V2 and V1 replicas outside.
Blockhaus Facts : Its main purpose was to store fire V2 ballistic missiles towards England. The bunker could have stored 100 V2s inside (if it was fully completed). was only %50 completed due to being heavily bombed in 1943-44, damage can be seen on and around the bunker. A “Disney” bunker busting bomb was found lodged in the roof of the bunker. A tallboy bomb blew up outside the bunker which created an...
Read moreWhat a place. and only a short hop from the Ferry at Calais. I was thoroughly amazed by this tour, not just because of the excellent and professional layout of the exhibits, and the time they clearly put into maintaining the exhibits, but also because they have gone to great lengths to ensure the 'human' story is being told. It's quite harrowing the story of the workers used during this period to construct such things as this bunker, but the team here have done a brilliant job ensuring that the story is being heard and acknowledged. The Bunker for the V2 rockets is just insane! I had no idea. I'm very interested in War history, and this blew me away. We toured all the way round the bunker and inside. For anyone interested in this period of history, the stories behind it's construction, how Britain's RAF combated the incoming rockets, and it's eventual destruction, you'll spend your 10 euros very wisely. Oh, very helpful motorcycle area outfront with a locker system to lock helmets...
