Musée Stella Matutina — Attraction in Saint-Paul

An interesting history of how sugarcane was introduced and grown to production in reunion island. Located in an old and real sugarcane factory. Lots of explanation and steps of production for sugar, rhum, and history of the people who helped produce them. Nice museum with great potential. We took the audio guide and the visit started with lots of descriptions about history. After this great start when we arrived inside the warehouse there was less interactions from the audio guide and we ended up not understanding all the processes and techniques to manufacture sugar. Great museum throughout. It was built inside a former cane sugar factory and explain a lot about the manufacturing of the sugar. It has explanations in both Franch and English. The machines used for the production are still there and help you understand how this happens.
