This review is about the parking lot: we arrived here at 8am this morning and there were 10 cars parked already at the regular parking spots. There are around 15 spots in total at the bottom of the parking. We did the Grand Riviere - Anse Couleuvre hike and got back to the car around 15:00pm and it was a total chaos at the parking lot at this time of the day. There were maybe 100 cars, people parked left, right, up and down and on the side of a super tight and curvy road. There is no way to make a maneuver and two cars cannot pass at the same time. Read moreThe hiking trail to the Cascade de la Rivière Couleuvre in Martinique is a really enjoyable walk. The path is well-marked and takes you through beautiful, wild scenery. At times, you have to cross the river, which adds a bit of adventure, but it’s not difficult to manage. I found the trail to be fairly easy – you don’t need to be super fit to do it, though proper water-friendly shoes are a good idea.
