Plage d'Étang-Salé — Attraction in Saint-Pierre

It is an amazing beach to relax on! There are plenty of trees that you can set up your towels and relax under. But beware, it's back sand and it gets really hot, so don't forget your sandals or flip flops. There are facilities for volleyball and the likes, as well as great restaurants practically on the beach. I understand surfing is available there (from beginners level), even though I don't personally surf, I saw many people doing so. The swimming area is not very big but it is very nice sandy area that isn't very deep, and can be ideal for kids.
