Very beautiful place! The gardens are extremely well maintained, and the Gardeners are obviously very skilled at Topiary, and lawns...Everything is so perfect, and so green! Even though there is a lot of formality to the Gardens, it is also very charming, with special little vistas, nice quiet spots to sit in comfy deck chairs, and little surprises such as the tiny chapel with its amazing windows made of chunky shards of exquisitely coloured glass cemented together, the likes of which we have never seen anywhere else. We have also never seen Cedar trees trained into arches! So cool!! We loved it so much we went twice, and spent the better part of two days there with our two miniature Schnauzers. Morning coffee at the Cafe was very good, and Lunch was excellent. The Restaurant staff were very friendly and it is clear to us that they work very efficiently together because it was busy, yet they did everything with apparent ease and speed. The Gardens are a stunning, peaceful, grown up place, where you can spend the whole day, if you like. And there is plenty of deep shade parking which is a particularly good bonus. We...

We visited nearly nine years ago and I still think about it all the time. The peace, the tranquility, the elegance, the harmony, the beauty, the sensitivity, the love at work and on display here is almost too much to comprehend and appreciate when you are walking around. When i'm feeling down (often) I go to this garden in my memory on that wonderful early September afternoon in 2011 and i'm glad to be alive and to have visited such an earthly paradise. Sitting in the Chinese pagoda with my mother and sister and laughing for the first time together since losing a loved one while sharing a relaxing pause in our delightful walk will remain with me for all time, maybe things don't get any better than that? I will visit again, probably as an old man and my tears of joy will be warm, sweet and plentiful. A very special place indeed for my family and I urge anyone else not to miss the opportunity if you are in any doubt, you will be repaid one...

Interesting gardens, very formal, structured and regimented interspersed with some sophisticated flower choices (lovely use of Gaura throughout). However, there was a lot of restrictions to where you could go. Lots of do not walk on the grass areas, with many parts of the gardens just unable to get near. Which is borderline impossible to police with any young, lively children! For this reason I would not advise anyone to take young children here.

We had lunch at the restaurant here, food was ok. As seen in a few other reviews here, some of the staff are rude. We experienced an extremely rude waiter who just walked off when my elderly parent got confused about using the card machine. He refused to return to our table so we could pay and we had to go to the counter to pay. A deeply...

Stunning gardens and a delightful experience A truly beautiful and peaceful place. The gardens are perfectly maintained, with impressive topiary, lush lawns, and charming details throughout. Highlights include quiet seating areas, arched cedar trees, and a small chapel with incredible stained-glass windows. The cafe was average (reviewed separately) There’s also plenty of shaded parking. Highly recommended definitely a five star review.
