Grande Plage de Cala Rossa — Attraction in Sartène

Color of the water here is darker than in other near by beaches like Plage de Saint Cyprien, it is warm and not shallow - very quickly it gets deep. But it is nice, there are enough room for your towel, and the parking is on the street for free. I think there is enough space, but we visited this on Monday July 10th. There are some rocks so you can climb and take a pic of the beach. There are no toilettes so you can maybe order a coffee in some of the restaurants and then you can use it. I think dogs were not allowed but i saw a few. It wasn’t windy. We visited Palombaggia, Tamaricciu, Plage de Saint Cyprien and Cala Rosa and it was not windy too much in any of these beaches. All in all beach is ok, nothing...

This beach has a few shortcoming. The first few meters into the water the ground is covered with small rocks. This makes it uncomfortable to walk in and out of the water. Furthermore, when we were there (end of July 2023) a lot of gras/seaweed was floating in the water.

This beach is just not as beautiful as the beaches...
