A very well restored fort from the late 19th century. The info tablets are also in English. I wasn't offered an audio guide nor was I given a map which would have made the visit more interesting. Still, I like to spend my time and I was inside for nearly 2 hours. More artefacts and information about the various rooms would also have been appreciated. Picnic tables outside in the parking area would be a great idea! There are various souvenirs on offer and also some snacks. Dogs are allowed which I was glad of. I would recommend an early visit because there is not much shade during the day. There is a sky walk in the trees which seems to be very...

Hidden Gem of a history lesson. Travel back to 1880 38 years before the first world way and see how the French defended themselves in the Franco-Prussian war in which it was defeated. It has been under preservation since 1979. Well worth a visit. It's not small so bring walking shoes and a...

Balade d’environ 25 minutes.
