beware of the boats that take you to the wave. In particular do not go with the yellow boat w/ Tim as captain and a taller French man who sells the tickets at the parking lot. We paid them for a roundtrip, they took my husband out to the wave to surf, dropped him off and never went back. As soon as they returned to shore they told me they were"done for the day" and started leaving. When I insisted they need to go back to get him at some point they carelessly said he could just ask any boat out there for a ride. When my husband did realize our yellow boat wasn't coming back for him, he asked the last boat out there for a ride and they said no. These boats left him out there alone near sunset, a wave more than a quarter mile away from shore. He did a 45 minute paddle back after surfing and waiting out there for 2 hours. How irresponsible of these boats- they didn't care at all about anyone's safety, just there to take the tourists' money. Just shitty. There are better...

We stopped here as we drove around Tahiti on our day trip. We wanted to use the Wi-Fi, but they did not allow it nor could you be inside if you did not order food. We ordered some drinks and May have ordered food, but they were not very friendly. They had a good amount of people visiting. We took a few pictures. They have boats that take you out to see the big waves. We did not go, because we had our luggage in our car and were nervous about leaving...

It’s a spot that is a must when you are Tahiti. The vibe is very chilled and the waves are amazing! Even if you don’t surf it’s worth to take a boat ride to the waves. It’s spectacular wave with a dream view. Good taxi boat company is Coco!
