Alain Robert Vineyard — Attraction in Tours

I had the pleasure of visiting this vineyard and winery two years ago. I brought home a few bottles and just recently found the occasion to open one, a 2014 Moelleux. Lovely tour and history of the vineyard which is on its 2nd generation. Young for the region but they are producing some fantastic wines. Being from the U.S. we had no idea the Vouvray region produces more Brut than still wines. Doesn't matter, we loved both and didn't leave empty handed.
