Castle of Aulée — Attraction in Tours

We really enjoyed our wine tasting today. The lady who led the tasting was very informative, answered all our questions in depth and in perfect English. Embarrassingly, we don’t speak much French, so this was extremely helpful.

Turned up without an appointment and were treated to a wonderful tasting of some excellent sparkling and still wines. It’s only on my return home that I find out more…..the winery is owned by an ex employee of Bollinger apparently, hence the excellent quality and value for money.
