After visiting some of the larger Chateau’s with large crowds it was very pleasant to have a quieter and more intimate journey here. This day we essentially had the house to ourselves, The house and grounds are beautiful. The staging of the rooms with the original furnishings was delightful. It was interesting to see how the house evolved with subsequent owners and inventions. For example, a telephone hidden behind a movable wall panel. Well...

The castle itself is nice but not fantastic, a bit modern. You'll love it if you like organs, as you can see all the inside of the one there (impressive) or if you like autographs (check the wall of the library). The most important is the park and the garden, very nice on the top of the hill. And then the domain offers a huge area where international musical events are held every summer. worth it for a nice walk, some people use it...

This chateau is phenomenal and a must see. Attention was paid to incorporate original furniture and artwork. It’s a true walk through history. The chateau and garden have magnificent views, and the guides are incredibly friendly and knowledgeable.

Having seen many chateaus in the Loire Valley, this is the best one. It was a true pleasure being able to visit and speak...

A truly beautiful castle! One of the most interesting restorations I saw near Tours. The interior was faithfully renovated and serve as works of art on their own. The guides were very warm and welcoming! The grounds are just as lovely, walking up to the main building past many large trees and picnic areas. I saw many families enjoying a meal there.
