Domaine Sylvain Gaudron — Attraction in Tours

As someone who literally never drinks white wine, we arrived to learn and to be open to the experience in the Vouvray region. We were greeted by a hard working team that were courteous, and led through the steps and history by Pauline, who could not have been friendlier. While professional of course, she was so warm and welcoming, happy to share what she could. We arrived on a day where they were preparing for the harvest, cleaning tanks and bottles, and so much activity that Pauline had to strain to be heard - and smiling the whole time. We tried so many wines, and variations I couldn't have imagined. Before leaving town, we decided to go back and send some wines home. The prices are amazing for the quality of wines that they are making, and the shipping seems to be smooth and simple. I really love being a customer when it is a family running the place - both literally as well as the way their team acts. We look forward to our delivery. Fantastic wines and we especially liked fizzy wine “Zero dosage” which was at amazing price. We bought couple of cases several years back and couldn’t remember the name of the domaine, so we bought triple zero elsewhere for double the price and we liked it less! Eventually we called the B&B (also amazing (La Maison Leonard) we stayed in many years ago who recommended this place originally and we came back again to find that the wine was just as good as we remembered it! Que dire… Magnifique moment passé avec le guide, nous avons eu la chance d’être seuls (avec ma compagne) lors de la visite du domaine.

La guide a une expertise monstre, elle a répondu à toutes nos questions, nous a expliqué en détails tout le processus de fabrication de vins ainsi que la région de Vouvray et ses alentours.
