I think we were very lucky to be the only guests on this tour on this particular day. We had the complete attention of our delightful and brilliant guide, Romarin. The chateau itself is quite stunning, no expense has been spared on a remarkable restoration. The gardens similarly are beautifully manicured. The historic cellar is literally jaw dropping for scale and again the quality and sheer industrial beauty of its restoration. Read moreThe place is pretty, but the wine tasting experience is simply something that no thought has been put into. The chateau is closed, the garden is closed, and the grape field is also not open to customers who pay €30 each to visit. This is the most expensive wine tasting that we've ever attended. Only three wines were served with tiny bit of each. There's no cheese or anything pairing with the wine. We saw a cellar and the fermentation area. That was it and we've seen these for free from other Chateaus. Our guide is friendly and answered all the questions that we asked. 3 stars are given...

You might be picking up a few bottles of the wonderful wine , however I do not believe that for the un"toured" visitor you are going to have the type of wine tastings you might enjoy elsewhere in the valley.
