If you haven't been on the train during the Christmas season, you've really missed out! It is one of the best train rides you'll ever go on! Yes, they tell corny jokes, but it's all in good fun and it's part of what makes the ride so great. Don't miss out on one of SDC's best and most famous attractions. It's well worth the price of admission... Well, that and everything else SDC has to offer!

The Frisco Silver Dollar Line Steam Train is a relaxing and scenic ride through the Ozark Mountains around Silver Dollar City. The train goes through portions of the theme park and then out to a loop on top of one of the mountains. On many trips their is a brief performance of hillbilly comedy. However, during the Christmas festival (Nov-Dec) there is a biblical story of Jesus birth.

Always a treat to ride at night when all the Christmas lights are up. It's worth the wait, and the trains have a high capacity so you don't wait as long as you think you will.

I don't recommend getting snacks at the snack station, though... I waited a long time and never got served before I had to get on the train. Hopefully it was just a one-time thing.
