Inside St. Andrew's state park, this place was beautiful. Great viewing areas, lots of wildlife. The nature trail was really cool too. So glad we didn't pass this place up. A group before us got to watch a gator eating. We saw a very small one in the water. We watched two small lizards fighting. Entertaining to say the least. This place also had my favorite beach of the trip. Next time we get to shell island!

I saw a gator here once in 4 visits. My bad luck isn't the norm though. Since the hurricane it's a bit flooded out but still plenty to walk amongst the really cool trees (no idea what kind). Also saw some cool ducks and a giant colony of birds in the middle. Plus the beach is right down the road. Go hoping for gators but enjoy the waves regardless.

Every time we are in Panama City Beach we always got to St. Andrews state park which is where Gator Lake is located. We always see alligators when we go and finding alligators is one of my favorite things to do on vacation! Zoom into the pictures and you will see a gator. We always see a lot of wildlife here. It’s a great time!
