Not touristic... ? Are you joking? Maybe that review was written when they didn't FENCE THE ENTIRE AREA AROUND THE WATERFALL OFF! If you have a natural feature, part of the land, and want to build a nice walkway, then it is fine to fence that walkway off and ask people to pay to get a better view. But to fence the entire waterfall off... no, whoever did this is a criminal and if it's the Georgian state then they should be ashamed of themselves. Natural waterfalls and similar features should never, ever be fenced off in this way. Charge people for parking or to use private facilities, sure. But simply to enjoy the beauty of nature should not be done to make profit, and worse of all is places like this that are totally fenced off. I even went down a muddy trail away from the walkway but even 1km away and 500 metres from the waterfall drop it was fenced off. An...

Okatse Waterfall, located near Okatse Canyon in Georgia’s Imereti region, is usually an impressive 70-meter-high natural sight. However, during this season it loses much of its charm — the flow is reduced to a thin stream of water.

Another drawback is the cost. You have to pay 20 GEL just to enter, and the same fee applies to many other natural attractions across Georgia. After walking all the way to the ticket booth and seeing the price, we decided to turn back. Visiting multiple sites quickly adds up, and in some cases, the entry fees cost more than your meal. Overall, I found tourist attractions in Georgia to be quite expensive, and this one wasn’t worth it for me in its...

Amazing view, superb! In my view this is one of the top 3 places to visit in entire Georgia. I went here on 04-Aug-2019 with my family. My kids enjoyed a lot here (especially on the free access area on the right side of ticket counter- you can actually play/swim in the water. View is stunning. Although it is little far from Kutaisi, it’s a must see place. The exact spot of this location on google map was not showing correctly (may be due to hilly area), but nothing to worry, keep going you will find exact tourist spot within a kilometer or two- you...

An hour's drive from Kutaisi, along an increasingly narrow and steeply rising road, the Okatse (Kinchka) Waterfall cascades into the depths in an incessant stream from a high rock wall. You reach the base of the large Okatse waterfall and the top of the small Okatse waterfall after a short but beautiful walk on a steel path. For the daredevils you can also zip down here. I can recommend combining a visit to the waterfall with a walk through the magnificent Okatse Canyon.
