Horrible Management! We came with backpack and at the entrance they told us that we can let it at the guides but they refused. In the museum they told us that we can't enter the museum with backpack. The guides again refused to keep our packages.

Anyone proposed us a guided tour there were all sitting without doing anything - let them go! The economy needs cheap unqualified labor.

40 lari to pay some guides which are doing nothing - even not taking care of our luggage.

Georgia is a country I learned to love the last weeks but that's not Georgia - those are state employees with...

This is a wonderful site to visit and explore for several hours or more, an opportunity we could enjoy the most without a guide. Our experience was enhanced by using the inexpensive map that guided us through the dozens of cave buildings to see, with short descriptions in English. Buy the map (only 5 Lari)!! The creator of the map (Medea) was also a terrific greeter at the gate with some excellent advice. The added wine visit for 5 Lari gave us some enjoyable tastings and snacks at the end of the trip near the old winemaking section of...

Very pathetic experience here at uplitsikhe caves. The guide at ticket booth explained difference between 15 GLE and 20 GLE tickets. Not explained that less than 18 years age cannot have winery experience. When we went there, our group was treated very differently then others. Also we were not given dry fruit tray which they were giving to others. Its totally a discrimination and behavior was simply not for tourist. I urge all tourist especially Indians, not to buy 20 GLE tickets as there is no...

Interesting place. Very old city carved in stone, on a hill. Be prepared to walk on stones. There is no straight path. Watch your steps as you can brake ankle very easily. Without guide or audioguide there is no information about place. Audioguide is not presenting lot of information but still there are some about place. At the museum near the entrance is video about reserve. Overall place is worth to visit. Parking is paid 5gel Entrance 15gel Audioguide 15gel Visit will take around 1-1.5 hour

Can't believe this place gets only 140 reviews. It's actually worth visiting. The place was built around 2000 BC and although not UNESCO and not and old capital according to some misinformation, this place is after all a testament of how clever humans were before we had speech and proofs of medical studies of herbs existed back then is just shocking to me. The climb is not too bad if you're worried. I have weak knees and has claustrophobia and I managed pretty well.

The guy selling juice st the front entrance is a crook! He threstens people in the FREE carpark and demands money. He spoils the whole experience. He is aggressive and demanding. I understand that the parking inside the gate is paid parking, but he demands 15Lari for outside parking in the road. The authorities sould deal with this criminal.
