Kobuleti Managed Reserve is a protected area in Kobuleti Municipality, Adjara region of Georgia along the Black Sea coast in the northern part of the resort town Kobuleti. Kobuleti Protected Areas were established in 1998 to preserve unique wetland ecosystems recognized by the Ramsar Convention.

Ramsar protected wetland is over 700ha large and quite impressive. The visitor infrastructure is heavily worn out so do not expect your feet to stay dry or to be able to read all the info, the nature is definitely the winner and Kobuleti invests now into turists in the town. Proudly elsewhere presented view tower is a ruin and large puddle next to it well protects the access to the national park wooden paths. Therefore you are likely to be the only one visiting though about 500m away there and is a sea resort area packed...

Beautiful nature reserve, all the better for being slightly neglected - nature is thriving here. We visited in August so not many birds, but many frogs and dragonflies. We had just had heavy rain so had to wade through water to get to the boardwalk area, waterproof sandals recommended! There were some workers repairing the...
