we visited this museum on a rainy cold may day with the hope to fill meaningfully the time. What a waste of money and time. Ticket is 5lari but hardly worth to visit even for free. First 2 rooms almost empty or with fauna from 1950, dusty air and empty shelfs or with antique guns nearby baby trolleys??? Few printed images about the ancient past and few broken ceramic, we guess, vasels. The only slightly interesting part is the 3rd room with soviet era stuff like Stalin statues and modernist paintings. Also in the room few books and ad materials from Lithuania i guess??? Again why there.. just random stuff. Georgians have absolutely no ideea of culture or how to create a museum but ask money for entrance. Grumpy ppl, no costumer service neither smiles. No ventilation, not much to see same artefacts from 1900 that nobody touch or updated, building full of mold and falling apart some sort of georgian cheap renovations. Make yourself a service and skip this. In Tbilisi may find some decent museum, definitely not in Kobuleti.

Nice little museum. This is the only museum in the city, so it's worth visiting to get to know the area you've been to. I liked the expositions with a restored picture of the life of the people of Sakartvelo, weapons, old photographs on the second floor. Very soulful atmosphere.

My wife and I greatly like to visit a museum of different types and we always visit them with interest and with very special mood. To be honest, this museum utterly disappointed us. As we see, here, unfortunately, they do not respect our native, Georgian language. In addition, everything here is arranged unprofessionally, spontaneously and sometimes very banally and...
