Very beautiful scenic view of Tbilisi and surroundings from this monastery. Unfortunately the new Tbilisi Hills community development has limited the road access from the Tbilisi side. You may have to come from the highway on the other side.

Very beautiful scenic view of Tbilisi and surroundings from this monastery. Unfortunately the new Tbilisi Hills community development has limited the road access from the Tbilisi side. You may have to come from the highway on the other side.

I really can' t understand the good notes on Shavnabada Monastery. It's not worth the effort to go there. It's not half that interesting as all the other cloisters we visited. Such a sad place.

Even the way to get there is sad and depressing...to see all these horrible satelite suburbs...maybe another reality of Tiflis but i don't need it actually.

Maybe the view from above maybe nice in some way. We were very...
