Racha-Lechkhum-Kvemo Svaneti Planned National Park — Attraction in Racha-Lechkhumi and Lower Svaneti

Racha is definitely my fav region in Georgia. With its nature, people, crystal clear mineral waters, lakes and mountains, everything is terrific. You might think all of this stuff is in other regions too and I would answer yes, totally agreed but in Racha there is some kind of unique atmosphere which you should feel with your own way.

I collected all of the photos which are taken in different locations all over these three regions. But I would definitely recommend the Chutkhato massif trek which is located in lower Racha and connects it to lower Svaneti. Wonderful places! Road from Alpana to Lailashi located into canyon is awesome. Saint George's old church. Where were found the oldest four Gospels. Swimming pool "Okronishi" is very nice More than century old synagogue, where were found the oldest bible in Jewish. Armenian church mostly destroyed by time. Beautiful and little visited part of Georgia. We headed here mainly for the Udziro Lake near Shovi/Glola but with more time would have loved to explore the area more.

Great place for hiking and camping, with great views of the Caucasus mountains. We used public transport (marshrutkas) and hitchhiking, but a 4x4 would be preferable to really get the most out of the region
