Disappointed and Misled – Two-Tier Pricing for Foreigners Without Transparency

We visited Anaklia Aquapark as a group of 16 people and were very disappointed with the way ticket pricing was handled. Prior to our visit, we checked the official website, which clearly stated the entrance fee as 35 GEL — with no mention of different pricing for foreigners.

However, upon arrival, we were told at the ticket office that foreign citizens must pay 50 GEL. This came as a complete surprise, as there was no indication of this policy on their official website or any other communication channels.

This kind of dual pricing system without any transparency feels discriminatory and unprofessional. It's frustrating to feel like you're being taken advantage of just because you're a foreign visitor. If there is a separate pricing policy, it should be clearly stated in advance on their website and all promotional materials.

We expected better treatment and clear communication from an international tourist destination. This experience left a bad impression and we cannot recommend Anaklia Aquapark to others, especially foreign visitors who deserve to be treated with fairness...

I guess it's the best correlation between the price and the quality.

Price (july 2024) is 35 GEL (≈1000 RUB, ≈13 USD). You get the unlimited ticket for all day (11:00-19:00) and all activities such as 8 waterslides (unfortunately, one of them was on reconstruction during our visit), kids zone, pools, free sunbeds, showers and personal locker with armband.

For additional money, you can take the food and drinks by local cafe on the aquapark' area.

Two small minuses are:

1. many of waterslides are for two peoples, so if you come alone, you should find the friend-for-slide :)
2. not all lockers (many of them) are working but friendly staff always helps you (sometimes they speak only Georgian, be ready of you are foreigner).

A very nice water park. Has 80's vibe with early 90's soundtrack. Has eight water slides though only five were working at our visit. Also Has a nice swimming pool with a tunnel that goes around the installations. Small cafeteria with hot dogs and burgers and french fries.
