Clean and nice water ideal for swimming, but that’s about it. Don’t be fooled by all the positive reviews here, they seem to be written by people who have never seen a real beach made for people. There are no typical beach amenities like sun loungers and umbrellas. Instead, you find rusty nails in the stones close to the road, rusty stairs, random wood pieces lying around (with more rusty nails). It’s a stone beach and that’s alright. The mountains around are nice, but it’s only enjoyable if you can ignore the huge line of trucks which are waiting for boarding crossing. Speaking of which, going to the street is dangerous since it’s narrow, busy and hectic.
Not recommended for families with kids and elder people.

Read moreI came on vacation with my parents. Looking for a place to swim in Batumi, the best option was this beach. Since Batumi beach is polluted!
So... Sapri beach. The best beach in Batumi - don't make me laugh. Located on the border, on the literal border with Turkey! A lot of cars standing in traffic to cross the border, rumbling, dirt, rusty nails, sticks scattered all over the beach, a pile of garbage. It's like it's not a beach, it's a dump! Disappointment, anger and humiliation are the only emotions!
Comments that praise this beach is an exaggeration, bots, or people who have gone through this torment, want...

All that aside, it is qeuit far from the city and we payed 27 Lari to get there by Bolt (their local Uber), at the end it was worth the shot and we...
