Took us a while to understand where to enter the forest and start the hiking adventure, so if you have same issue - here is what we did. Go to a parking next to Hotel Forsthaus Auerhahn - (48.5907826, 8.2508840). Once you parked - it’s few minutes walking to the sigh of where you can go in the forest and these are many different way to explore. (Picture with plan attached) We took the one to Wildsee - walked around 1 h 15 m, but unfortunate it was closed till 15th March, still - you can see even a better view from Wildseeblick. Basically the wildsee is a lake down in mountain and Wildseeblick is a view point where you see the lake from above. Really beautiful! Was a great hiking experience:) will be back for more as this place is so wild and huge.

Dogs are allowed with a leash, so we were happy to take...

The Black Forest National Park is a stunning destination for nature lovers, offering a mix of dense forests, crystal-clear lakes, and scenic hiking trails. Visitors can enjoy breathtaking views, rich biodiversity, and peaceful surroundings. The park is well-maintained, with routes for both beginners and experienced hikers, as well as opportunities for cycling and wildlife spotting. Seasonal changes make it unique year-round, from vibrant greenery in summer to snowy landscapes in winter. It is a perfect escape into nature, combining adventure, relaxation, and authentic...

You can easily spend a day or two if you plan to visit the National forest and trek. There are many paths and attractions within. We parked our car at Ruhstein and then walked parking cost about less than 10€ for full day. You have the option to take the cable car, a both way journey costs about 5€. You can trek for about 3.5Kms until you reach Darmstatdter Hut for a lovely lunch and then follow the path for other...

This national park is so beautiful. The nature here is really wild and the forest looks really as it is colored into black how much dense it is. Just walking there, admiring tall of the plants, mushrooms, and huge trees, it is so peaceful and so useful for taking a deep breath. Moreover, you have many traces to many places which you can follow, so not even weeks are enough long time for exploring this forest.
