Sehr schöner Aussichtspunkt auf 1340m Höhe, mit Blick auf den Großen Arbersee, das Skistadion, auf Bayerisch Eisenstein und nach Tschechien. Je nach Ausgangspunkt führt der Weg teils auf breiten teils auf schmalen Wanderwegen zum Mittagsplatzl. Mehrere Bänke laden zu einer Rast ein. Es gibt ein kleines schön gestaltetes Gipfelkreuz und eine Plakette.

Es war ein schöner sonniger Oktobertag. Auf dem Mittagsplatzl ging es zu wie auf dem Stachus in München. Tolle Aussicht wenn das Wetter passt, aber für meine Verhältnisse zu viele Leute. Ist halt auch kein schwieriger Aufstieg z.B. vom Bretterschachten aus.

Toller anspruchsvoller und abwechslungsreicher Wanderweg zum Gipfel. Größtenteils steiniger und verwurzelter Weg, also auf jeden Fall Wanderschuhe anziehen.

Ein herrlich kleiner Ort mit spitzen Aussicht zwischen Gr. Arber und Bodenmais. Wir waren zuerst am Gr. Arber und wanderten dann weiter Richtung Mittagsplatzl und zurück nach Bodenmais. Die Aussicht ist natürlich wunderbar (bei schönem Wetter). Unbegrenzte Sicht bis über die Grenze. Der Arbersee ruht ganz unten mit seinem schönen, dunkelblauen Wasser. Schöner, abwechslungsreicher Anstieg, z.T. etwas anspruchsvoller aber gut zu meistern auf für ungeübte Wanderer; Aussicht wahrscheinlich traumhaft, leider hat uns der aufsteigende Nebel überholt und entsprechend nix zu sehen oben... aber allein der Weg lohnt...
