Badesee Bensheim — Attraction in Bensheim

The entrance fee, which is €5, is reasonable. There are many locals and lots of families, so it feels quite peaceful. €4 for a beer is expensive, and the fries are also pricey but very tasty. The water became unclear after a few meters, but that’s not the responsibility of the operating company. And the water quality is safe also you can even find the official report online. If you look carefully, you can see fish in the water and duck families walking around the area.

The showers (including foot rinse stations) are very clean.

I’m giving 4 stars only because it closes at 21:00. Please clean the toilets after that time so visitors can still find a place to use...

Splendid lake! Tidy, clean shower and change rooms, lovely sandy beach, beautiful, shady and sunny large lawn, water is nice and clean from what we can tell, pontoon is popular with young people and kids. Bade see Bensheim is a lake called as magic lake and local people and tourist enjoying the place for swimming and boating. There is a restaurant, tickets window, boats and a slop leads to lake.
