Perfect place to play E-Karting around the Munich area! First of all, the place has everything! It was really spacious! I think they had E-Karting, Billiard, Bowling, Arcades, Mini Golf, a Bar, and a proper restaurant.
Went with friends to go Karting here, we had a total of 12 people and was allowed to have the track to ourselves. I booked the race via phone call and the service was amazing! We were planning to race at 14.00 but it turns out that it was already full and they offered me to race at 13.30. I told them that I have to re-confirm with my friends if they can race at 13.30 and they actually kept the time slot booked for me temporarily until I can confirm it which was a few hours later. This was something that was really helpful. Really thankful for this!
I think what we did was the Grand Prix 30, we had 6 or 8 laps of qualification before the actual race which was 16 laps if I am not mistaken. Of course, the ones who had the best qualifications started in front of the race. It was 36.90€ for new comers and 32.90€ for people who have played before because the 4€ was a registering fee, a balaclava and helmet is always included every time you race. This was the price for a Thursday before 15.00, I think after 15.00 it is a few euros more expensive but not so big of a difference. They had three raceways and we were in raceway 3 which was a one minute raceway with two floors and a lot of turns. The track is quite narrow so it is pretty hard to overtake, but despite this… the track was still really great and fun to race in. And I would also say that this is already very spacious for an Indoor Karting place.
Back in my country I used to play with go-karts from time to time with an engine and gasoline so this was the first time for me to try an E-Kart. It is fast enough when it is going down the ramps or in a flat track but it was annoyingly slow when going up the ramp, but this was only a few seconds of the track so it was still fine. They are really modern, clean, quiet, and fun to drive with. It’s cool that it tracks everything from your time per lap, who is overtaking who in every lap, the positions of everyone in each lap, and a few other things, You can access all these info in their app. You don’t get these very detailed info with normal gokart places that are just for leisure activities, so these information was cool to have!
This was really an amazing and fun experience! Will always recommend the place for people wanting to go Karting and I will for sure come...
Read moreI recently visited Race 02 and encountered several issues that made the experience unpleasant. They only consider profit. The place was so overcrowded. Dont go there as a POC they like to select minorities to sit out for no reason.
Track Size: The track space is quite small, making the turns difficult and unsafe, especially during races.
Staff Conduct and Rules Enforcement:
The team working at the Race 02 section did not explain the rules well and seemed to take them too seriously without offering immediate help when needed.
When I complained about being slammed twice by the same individual, one staff member laughed and did not take the situation seriously. The participant in question did not face any consequences, despite violating the rules. This gives the impression of favoritism.
A specific staff member at the start of the race (short, plump, with blonde curly hair) was extremely rude, impolite, and disrespectful towards us, creating a negative atmosphere.
Hidden Fees: A €4 fee was unexpectedly demanded, which was not mentioned during the booking process. This lack of transparency is disappointing.
Safety Concerns:
The environment is unsuitable for kids, teens under 17, or older individuals due to inattentive participants who recklessly bump into others, potentially causing injuries like back and neck strains.
There appears to be no adequate first-aid support or immediate assistance for injuries.
The experience left us with back and neck pain as a group, which could have been avoided with better oversight and safer conditions. I urge management to address these issues seriously to improve the experience for future visitors. Thx and again this...
Read morego-karting was ok, the electric motors reach their peak output instantly, but it's not what you expect from electric cars, as it feels a bit slow. At the same time the track (3) did not allow for a lot of speed as well as overtakes. In the end with no vibration, smell, noise and with ability to reverse the electric karting is fun. Wish i could try the boost button.
Unfortunately the people without huge experience may block your way and then your Qualifying is spoiled.
The handling feeling was great, oversteer, undestreer, etc is quite precise, but the initial acceleration is not that fast.
3 stars due to registration process and Sportsbar organisation described below: Registration per person requires everything you got: phone, email, address, full name, age, and also your signature. They explain it because it's not free time activity, rather full blown sport, and the police and insurance needs to know everything. Hopefully no spam comes later in my inbox.
The Sportsbar is strange. They confirm bookings per Email, and then as you come, turns out it's cancelled because the whole restaurant is closed. No prior indication that you got no reservation anymore. The toilet smells like a rather strong chemical perfume.
There's enough free parking, as well as DCFC stations nearby, but no AC charging available.
Overall experience is nice, but some things outside of karting...
