Evaluating Today: On Reflection and Realization

Today stands as a thin line between the accumulated past and the uncertain future. If a person spends their days merely consuming time without pausing to reflect, they cannot truly evaluate them. But if today is filled with deep contemplation, then one hour of reflection can be more valuable than a thousand years of blind ritual. True realization transcends the limits of time, encompasses it, and draws the soul into the depths of truth.

The Weight of a Day and the Human Condition

Every day, human beings are exposed to intense heat—the heat of life, money, worries, the fear of death. In this fire, there are two types of people: those who “pop,” transform, and awaken to reality, and those who remain unchanged, indifferent. Yet, the essence of life itself is to change, to understand, to awaken. The saying "Die before you die" is the ultimate key to true awareness.

Today: The Thin Line Between Awareness and Ignorance

Today, billions will wake up, go to work, earn money, argue, seek entertainment, and then sleep—repeating the cycle endlessly. But how many will pause and ask themselves: What does my existence truly mean? Who will search for the truth the way one searches for the Night of Decree (Laylat al-Qadr)?

The words of the prophets shine like light across centuries. "One hour of reflection is better than a thousand years of worship." This statement reveals that a single day, if truly experienced with awareness, can be a gateway to eternity. One moment of true realization can redefine an entire lifetime. But a day wasted in unconscious living is an irreversible loss.

Today and the Dark Grave

The wealthy will grow wealthier. The poor will struggle to survive. Nations will plan wars, stock markets will rise and crash. But at the end of the day, the ultimate question remains: What will all of this mean when we are buried beneath the earth? Can billions of banknotes save anyone from the darkness of the grave?

Today is not just another page in the calendar. Today is an opportunity, a window into one’s own soul. Those who have "popped," who have awakened, understand the immense value of every passing day. Those who remain unawakened will stay blind, forever unaware, lost in the darkness.

In the end, today is either the beginning of great enlightenment or just another day consumed in unconscious living. Every human being must choose: Will I use this day for reflection, for deeper understanding—or will I let it slip away meaninglessly? One thing is certain: Only those who open themselves to reality will ever grasp the true...

I've been there for a Coldplay concert in June, 2022. It is a proper place for concerts. Me and my boyfriend had VIP tickets, so I can tell the ups and downs from this perspective. If you buy the tickets directly from Olympiastadion, you have to mention that because they are on a different batch of tickets when you go to claim them at the ticket house. I had a bigger backpack than the maximum dimensions allowed, but it was not that obvious, so the controller let me pass. It stopped however someone else who had his backpack full and made the large size of his backpack obvious. I don't know where he was sent to leave his backpack, but he was not permitted to go further. Until the concert started there were several floors with food and desserts you can serve and bathrooms you can go to. We had convenient seats, nobody in front of us, but behind us there were older people who wouldn't stand up and dance, so out of respect I didn't jump when I felt like it, but rather when other people were up too and dancing. It was so joyful to do the arm waves from one part to another of the stadium! For me it was something that I experienced for the first time at this magnitude and it felt like we were all part of a fairytale.

The downside for me was that I couldn't go outside the VIP section. On the terrain of the stadium, before starting the concert, the organizers put two jumping rings which produced energy if you danced inside them. I wasn't allowed to this type of fun, unfortunately. Also, standing outside the crowd, on a seat, which for me was a first, I was feeling dizzy seeing all that people down in the crowd. I saw some men being sick before the concert started, but the access to the exit for the ambulance men looked easy. They were transported outside quickly. Depending on the seats (if you stay upper), the sun at sunset may take your eyes.

The concert was like a dream. The service for the VIP section was really nice. I have a beautiful memory from there, so I...

With the intention of creating a more intimate atmosphere for football games, the playing field was lowered by 2.65 metres (8.7 ft). Approximately 90,000 cubic metres (3,200,000 cu ft) of sand was excavated. The lower tier of seating in the stadium was demolished and rebuilt at a completely different angle of inclination.

The roof was extended to cover a total of 37,000 square metres (400,000 sq ft), with 20 roof-supporting columns carrying a weight of 3,500 tonnes (3,900 short tons) of steel. The roof rises 68 metres (223 ft) over the seats and is made up of transparent panels that allow sunlight to stream in during the day. The western portion (on the Marathon Arch) is open to reveal the Bell Tower to the spectators.

The conservation factor of the Olympiastadion as a historical monument was also considered, especially with respect to the preservation of the natural stone blocks. After criticisms, the colour of the athletics track around the game field was changed from red to blue, reflecting the colours of Hertha BSC.

The renovations used 70,000 cubic metres (2,500,000 cu ft) of concrete and 20,000 cubic metres (710,000 cu ft) of pre-cast reinforced concrete elements. Some 12,000 cubic metres (420,000 cu ft) of concrete was demolished and removed and 30,000 cubic metres (1,100,000 cu ft) of natural stone was refurbished.

The Olympiastadion was equipped with the latest technology in artificial illumination and sound equipment. It has 113 VIP stands, a set of restaurants, and two underground garages (for 630 cars). The total cost of the remodelling and amplification was...

You can purchase a ticket to explore the stadium on your own or choose a guided tour. Please check the stadium's website for opening hours before your visit. The stadium may be closed to visitors if events or activities are taking place. This stadium is full of history and stories. It was built for the 1936 Olympics. Disregarding issues of fairness and human rights, the 1936 Olympics was very successful. Many arrangements now considered standard in modern Olympic Games originated then, such as the host country's extensive investment in new venues to showcase national strength, and the ceremony of relaying the Olympic flame from Greece. During World War II, the stadium was converted for military use, and a bunker was built there. After World War II, the stadium gradually resumed hosting events and sports, opened to the public for activities, and was gradually modernized. The stadium has hosted many large-scale events, concerts and international competitions in recent years, such as the 2006 World Cup, the 2009 World Championships in Athletics, the 2011 Women's World Cup, the 2015 UEFA Champions League and the 2024 UEFA Euro.

Built to mimic the Colosseum of Rome, Olympiastadion of Berlin is really a historic place to visit. Loved the stadium itself. But it was a little expensive. It costed 11 euros for one person, and It wasn't a guided tour. Visited on a Sunday. It wasn't too crowded, saw a lot of international tourists as compared to the local people. Reached it by train. The station is at 7-8 minute walk from the entrance. Once you reach entrance you are greeted by the iconic twin towers with Olympic rings suspended in between them. The stadium was opened in 1936, under the Nazi regime. It was supposed to act as a propaganda for showcasing German supremacy to the entire world. Jesse Owens the African - American, won gold in the 1936 Olympics here. You can still see his name carved in the wall between the stadium and Maifeld field. Walking around the stadium you can witness a lot of Nazi era history, including the bell tower and the giant bell itself. You can also buy several souvenirs including mini-balls, hoodies, caps, bags, keychains etc from where you buy tickets near the entrance.
