This park has quite a lot of history that I'm sure not a lot of people know about. The park used to have a forced Polish labour camp for women in children. 2 of the bunkers were destroyed. There is actually one that was left as a memorial to the women and children who lost their lives. There is a board explaining about the camp which I have posted pictures of and across the street from this memorial there's also a Soviet military memorial gravesite as well.
