Vogelpark Bobenheim-Roxheim — Attraction in Bobenheim-Roxheim

I had my great experience and good time in this place. Beside of seeing all these beautiful and many critical endangered species, I learned alot there. Its lovely they built all these white Stork love nest on the roof. There are no entry fee for this place , but I would donate some money and support this non- profit birdpark, those birds and nearly extinct species would need your help. Workers are very friendly, spending time explained to me about birds and visit location in English....

Der Vogelpark ist wirklich sehr schön und vor allen Dingen für jedes Alter. Für ein bißchen abschalten vom Alltag und etwas Natur tanken, ist er ideal. Und auf alle Fälle zu empfehlen!!!!

Waren auch im Restaurant. Bis auf dass, das man als Gruppe nicht zusammen saß, obwohl man frühzeitig reserviert hatte, die Bedienungen stellenweise überfordert und zum Teil unhöflich und diskussionsfreudig waren, kann man zum Essen (bis auf wenige Ausnahmen!!) nur Gutes berichten.

Es fing schon bei der Getränkebestellung an. Getränke wurden vergessen (klar kann das passieren und ist auch mehr wie menschlich!!) allerdings sollte man, wenn man schon darauf hingewiesen wird (die Bedienung), nicht anfangen, mit den Gästen zu diskutieren, man hätte die Getränke nicht bestellt. Nun gut, wie gesagt, alles menschlich....

Kommen wir zum Essen.... Bis auf die Suppe (schmeckte nicht frisch, eher nach Erasco), die Schnitzel (waren wohl TK, zumindest sah es danach aus und auf Nachfrage schmeckte es anscheinend auch so) und zuviele gebrachte Salate, war es alles in allem lecker.

Fazit : Man kann dort mit Sicherheit gut essen und ist danach auch satt, aber an einigen Stellen besteht noch handlungsbedarf. Jedoch ist das Restaurant eher etwas für Tagestouristen, Wanderer, Naturliebhaber etc aber nicht für feierliche...

This place is very nice. There are car parking options in front of it and they are all free of charge. You do not pay a fee for the visit. It was very interesting (especially for my kids) to see too many different types of birds. The only thing that l do not find pleasant is that the place smells bad. Maybe it is just because of the birdshit all over the cages. But still...
