This is a quaint little site and is NOT a picnic spot. The neolithic stone circle is reminder of humanity's beginnings and advent of civilization. Its a spot to simply reflect on how far our species has come from the stone age to the digital age and maybe also take time to reflect on the simplicity from which our civilizations arose. Do visit if you are pre-history buff, would take you less than half an hour to explore the stone circle, more if you choose to reflect/meditate. There is a small stream that flows next to the site and a cute little wooden bridge over it leads to the site. There's also an information board there which details the sites history in Deutsch, so for non-german speakers its better to have a translator with you. Also cell phone reception is very weak here. Hintergrundinfos hĂ€ngen gut dokumentiert in einem Schaukasten aus; da es dort so gut wie keinen Handy Empfang gibt, wĂŒrde ich vorher googeln, um noch mehr Infos zu erhalten. Die Anlage ist schön gepflegt und aktuell zum GlĂŒck von Rowdys verschont - weder Zerstörungen, noch Graffiti oder Ăhnliches stören die historische StĂ€tte.
