Adlerwarte Berlebeck — Attraction in Detmold

We visited here for the first time as a family and had an absolutely wonderful time. The place itself I found to be relatively small, extremely well maintained and simply laid out to follow. We walked through the area where the birds were in very large enclosures. Once you pass the enclosures, go up a small set of stairs, you get to view birds of prey standing on rocks less than a meter away. Beautiful place, they give shows with a lot of the birds they have there. Further more they take care of sick birds or young birds who got out of the nest to soon and are abandened by their parents.
