Eine Umrundung des Bützsee ist knapp 20 km lang. Von Wustrau am Westufer entlang kein Kontakt zu anderen Menschen. Einsame, ursprüngliche Natur. Die alte Kopfsteinpflasterstrasse aus DDR Zeiten ist für den öffentlich Verkehr gesperrt. Wechsel zum Ostufer erst weit hinter dem Bützsee möglich, an der Brücke Bützrhin. Dann in Wall wieder bewohntes Gebiet. Bis Altfriesack Feld, Wiese, Wald. Schleuse und Zugbrücke in Altfriesack sehr interessant.

Ein See mit einer sehr einsamen Badestelle und großer Liegewiese, einen kleinen Sandstrand gibt es auch. Die Badestelle ist für nicht eingeweihte Personen schwierig zu finden. Sie liegt mitten im Wald, einige Kilometer vom nächsten Ort entfernt. Es ist sehr flach, super geeignet für Kinder.
