Black Moor — Attraction in Fladungen (VGem)

When friends suggested visiting the Moor, I looked puzzled as the idea wasn't appealing at first "You want to go to a swampy moor?" I questioned incredulously, in this sweltering heat of 34 degrees? One of my resolution was to make nature part of my daily life and I intend to keep my resolution, so off we go to the bog. These protected landscape provides a safe haven for many extraordinary species both plants and animals. It is a good idea to select a well preserved area to observe these wonderful creatures without disturbing their habitat.(see if you can spot a wildcat) There is a boarded footpath, that we enjoyed strolling on. No stomping on plants that only grows abundantly in this area. There are a lot of informative boards around but all in German, I needed my pals to translate to me of course. At the end of this short hike, I was captivated once again by the local nature as the moor has its own charm and character 💚. I have every intention of visiting again in the Autumn, when it will be mystical and covered in fog. Entrance and parking is free. There is a cafe nearby for refreshing drinks,...

Wir waren heute das erste Mal dort gewesen und es hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Ein mit Bohlen gefasster Weg begleitet einem durch die verschiedenen Moore. Sehr aufschlussreiche Informationstafeln sind am Wegesrand aufgestellt. Sehr schön, unterhaltsam und lehrreich war der kleine Quiz am Eingang/Ausgang über die biologische Abbauzeit von verschiedenen Materialien. Styropor müsst ihr gesehen haben, wir sind bei der genannten Zahl fast umgefallen. Gerne wieder 😊🙋🏽‍♂️👍🍀

We were there for the first time today and we liked it very much. A path lined with planks accompanies you through the various moors. Very informative information boards are set up along the way. The little quiz at the entrance/exit about the biodegradation time of various materials was very nice, entertaining and informative. You must have seen Styrofoam, we almost fell over at the number mentioned. Gladly again 😊🙋🏽‍♂️👍🍀

Nous y sommes allés pour la première fois aujourd'hui et cela nous a beaucoup plu. Un chemin bordé de planches nous accompagne à travers les différents marais. Des panneaux d'information très instructifs sont disposés le long du chemin. Le petit quiz à l'entrée/sortie sur la durée de biodégradation de différents matériaux était très agréable, divertissant et instructif. Il faut avoir vu du polystyrène, nous sommes presque tombés à la renverse en entendant le chiffre cité. A nouveau avec plaisir 😊🙋🏽‍♂️👍🍀

Hoy hemos estado allí por primera vez y nos ha gustado mucho. Un sendero bordeado de tablones te acompaña a través de los distintos páramos. A lo largo del camino hay paneles informativos. El pequeño concurso a la entrada/salida sobre el tiempo de biodegradación de diversos materiales fue muy simpático, entretenido e informativo. Usted debe haber visto espuma de poliestireno, casi nos caímos en el número mencionado. Con mucho gusto de nuevo...

Schwarzes Moor – Natur trifft Komfort mit Aussicht

Wenn Natur ein Wellnesshotel wäre, dann wäre das Schwarze Moor die Suite mit Panoramablick. Schon beim Ankommen merkt man: Hier ist man nicht nur mitten in der Rhön, sondern auch mitten im Fortschritt – kostenlose Parkplätze UND Ladesäulen für E-Autos? Da klatscht selbst Greta Beifall. Was euch erwartet:

🥾 Wanderweg auf Holzbohlen: 2,4 km durch ein Hochmoor, das aussieht wie aus einem Fantasyfilm – nur ohne Drachen, dafür mit Infotafeln. 🧥 Klimatipp: Auch wenn unten Flipflop-Wetter herrscht – oben auf 800 m Höhe ist Jackenpflicht. Das Moor ist cool, im wahrsten Sinne, und auch recht luftig. 🍰 Kulinarischer Boxenstopp: Fränkische Leckereien, Kaffee, Kuchen – gepflegt, gemütlich, genau richtig für den kleinen Hunger vor dem großen Naturerlebnis. 🚽 Toiletten-Upgrade: 50 Cent für Sauberkeit deluxe – da zahlt man mit einem Lächeln. 🔭 Aussichtsturm mit Gratis-Fernglas: Blick auf die Wasserkuppe und Moorlandschaft, ganz ohne Münzeinwurf. Wer braucht schon Kleingeld, wenn die Aussicht unbezahlbar ist? Besonderheiten: Eintritt? Fehlanzeige. Alles kostenlos – sogar das gute Gefühl, etwas über Moore und Klimaschutz gelernt zu haben. Nebel? Ja, und zwar an rund 200 Tagen im Jahr. Das macht das Ganze mystisch und irgendwie magisch. Fazit: Ein Ausflug ins Schwarze Moor ist wie ein Kurzurlaub für die Seele – informativ, entspannend und überraschend modern. Wer Rhön liebt, wird hier sein Herz verlieren. Und wer noch nie da war: Jetzt wäre ein guter Zeitpunkt! Der Holzbohlenweg ist auch für Rollstuhl und Gehhilfe kein Problem
