Positives: Fun park to spend mostly a day with kids of different age (mostly 3+ for rides) Showstopper ride, Coaster bahn was good and definitely worth doing couple of times. Rides are more or less safe for kids of appropriate age provided done with safety. Staffs are friendly. Around the park it’s very scenic and beautiful Blackforest. Hanging bridge offers beautiful experience of its scenery. Plenty of rest rooms and benches.
Not so positives: waiting time for rides. Roughly 20min everywhere. Coaster ride up to an hour as well. Found it entry prices on higher side to what the park has to offer. No option to opt for family tickets. Definitely found it one time visit not more than that. Kids playground are just below average. Some public playground are better. Closing time 5pm, rides close even before that. That’s why starting at 10am is very important else you miss on rides.
Personal tips: Carry your food and water not to loose time while waiting in queue for rides. If you are early, parking is free and not a problem, later it’s full.
Overall it’s a miss and hit for that price point. Never really felt during stay that it’s totally worth my money. But still worth onetime...

The rides are thrilling and varied, whether you’re an adrenaline junkie or prefer something more family-friendly, there’s truly something for everyone. Each attraction feels well-maintained and safe, adding to the sense of fun without any worries.
What really stood out to me was the hospitality of the staff. Every team member I encountered was welcoming, friendly, and eager to help, which created a warm and positive atmosphere throughout the park.
The park itself is impressively clean and spacious, with plenty of room to walk around without feeling crowded. The natural scenery adds a refreshing touch, making it easy to take breaks and simply enjoy the views between rides.
Overall, it’s a perfect blend of adventure, comfort, and beauty. Highly recommended for families, groups of friends, or anyone wanting a fun and...
Read moreI had visited Steinwasen as a child, and had frequently looked at the home video tapes and photo albums and knew I had to one day bring my kids here. (Ginger kid was me) I thought it wouldn’t be as fun, things tend to get ruined after this amount of time… but I was wrong. It was amazing. It rained most the day but we still had so much fun. At about £100 for a family of six (1 under 4) we had more fun here than europa park. Feeding the deer and goats again took me straight back to my childhood. The views are amazing, utterly stunning. Soft play was well kept, and huge, plenty of rides and things to do for every ages and honestly it was definitely worth the 10 hour drive. Staff all super nice too. Thanks Steinwasen for still being the amazing place of my childhood. I hope to be...
