Danevirke Museum — Attraction in Haddeby

The museum is currently in a cabin next to the minigolf ground. It is quite informative but still in the making. We were nicely introduced by very friendly staff member of the museum who gave us personal recommendations which way to turn on the museum grounds which are quite extensive. Once the museum will be moved into its new home it will for sure be an even more recommendable site to see.

What a great guided tour along the magnificent Danewerk. Ryan made an excellent guide telling all the stories about the creation of the defense wall up to today. We can only recommend to allocate both time and energy to take the guided tour in walking along the wall to the Viking village in Haddeby.
