Camp Hinzert is tucked away from main view very near to the Autobahn but you have to be on the smaller roads to actually see signs for it. Its very well kept and has a powerful feel when you arrive to see such an important piece of history innocently hidden as it is. The memorial is small but fitting and the museum is definitely worth a stop inside. It was not crowded at all and the research staff who run the museum were very happy to see us and very helpful. The descriptions are all in German but they have listening devices for free that translate everything. If you're interested in this topic of WWII history, I'd highly recommend making a stop for it on your way...
