you’re looking for a peaceful spot to enjoy with kids and family, this place is perfect. Strolling through the scenic paths, you’ll come across friendly goats, colorful birds, graceful deer, playful cats, and even pigs—plenty to keep the little ones fascinated. The atmosphere is especially charming in the evening, when the light softens and the air feels calm.

Do note that if you enter via Parking B, the walk to the main entrance is a bit long, so be prepared—it’s worth it, though! Bring along a water bottle, and if you’d like, you can feed the goats. Fruits, nuts, and vegetables are welcome; just place them in the rack next to the ice cream shop by the play area. There’s also a cozy restaurant for a meal and well-maintained toilets for convenience.

My kids were delighted to spot peacocks, deer, and even wild cats during our visit. Getting here is easy: from Hildesheim ZOB, take bus number 2, 5, or 44, and get off at Rex-Braun-Straße. A Lidl shop is located right by the bus stop—perfect for stocking up on snacks and drinks before...

I always love this place. The animals here are treated really well. It is brilliant for children of any age, there is a play park, loads to see and do and even a insect center, where there is loads of information on animals, mainly insects.

The parking here is really good as there are two large car parks.

This place is simply wonderful. At no cost you can see beautiful, healthy and well cared for animals in clean, well maintained conditions. And the park is a good size! I don't know if the time of day when we visited had anything to do with it but EVERY animal was out and about, just doing their thing. I was just blown away. The people who run this place are doing amazing work. A real gem in the city...
