Es handelt sich hier um die höchste Schleuse in Deutschland und liegt ca. 30 km südlich von Nürnberg am Rhein-Main-Donaukanal. Sie ist leicht mit dem Auto, Fahrrad oder zu Fuß zu erreichen. Es fasziert mich immer wieder die Technik und die Kraft, die damit erreicht wird. Wir hatten das Glück in der Abenddämmerung gleich zwei Frachtschiffe westlich einfahren und östlich wieder ausfahren zu sehen. Der eigentliche Hubvorgang blieb unseren Augen verborgen, aber den kennen wir live von der kompletten Durchfahrt durch den...
