Bergwelt is a fun place to take the whole family. There's a huge playground for the little kids, and an alpine sled ride as well as zip lines for bigger kids (and parents). You can get food and drinks at a few different locations (one much higher up the mountain, requiring a hike), and the views are gorgeous all around. Truly gorgeous. You can hike up from road level, if you like (and have the extra hour+), or you can take a scenic ski chair lift ride up, which is what we did. After you are all done, you can walk down and get some really great ice cream at the bottom. The "honey melon" gelato was to die for, and totally changed my view on fruit flavored gelatos. The chocolate was great, too. Yum. We spent an excellent day here, and I really hope to get back next time we visit the Allgäu.

This is a tourist trap, we were passing by in the afternoon in high season, I just saw the coaster and thought that would be a cool thing to do for a quick stop... Well, in this place it seems there are no such things as a >quick< stop! We bought the tickets which I already thought were a bit expensive for a coaster, but once we arrived at the top we saw that there were at least 100, maybe even a 150 people waiting in line! We queued up for just 5 minutes but the line didn't even move, so I was looking at the frequency that they were sending off the carts and estimated that we would have to wait at least an hour, maybe 2 for it to be our turn... So we took the lift back down again, what a waste of money! We were never informed about the crazy waiting times at the ticket office... At least the view was okay.

Amazing place to stop if you are a bit of an adrenaline junkie. You take the cable car up to the top of the mountain great views all the way up and then have a choice of how you get down. The tickets are simple you pay for what you want and pay each time. No day tickets available. It was a bit expensive but well worth it. The views at the top of the mountain are amazing and there is a full oompah band with German restaurant and a Lama petting farm. So you could spend the day up there. We decided to take the toboggan roller coaster down and it was so much fun we screamed and laughed the whole way down only to want to do it again. The staff both at the top and the bottom are very friendly and helpful. A must see if you are in the area.

Günstige Parkgebühren (3€/Tag) und eine tolle Abfahrt mit der Rodelbahn. Das war's dann aber auch schon. Alles andere fühlte sich für uns wie überteuerte Abzocke an. Die Fahrt mit dem Sessellift war schön. Aber nicht spektakulär. Wie jede andere Fahrt mit einem Sessellift. Nur kam sie uns relativ kurz vor (keine 20 Minuten). Der Ausblick war schön, aber es gibt keinen besonderen Weitblick ins Gebirge, wie er beispielsweise im Karwendel häufig zu finden ist. Die Schlange zur Rodelbahn zog sich extrem lang. Wir haben ab 17.00 Uhr zwei Stunden (!!!!) warten müssen. Extrem lange. Insbesondere in der Sonne und fast die ganze Zeit ohne Schatten mit einem Dreijährigen. Wir haben uns sagen lassen, dass diese langen Wartezeiten dort fast schon "normal" seien. Vor allem im Sommer. Das Essen in der Bärenfalle war eine Falle. Allerdings eine Touristenfalle. Das Schnitzel war in Discounter-Qualität, bloß kleiner. Keine Pommes aus der Kartoffel geschnitten. Das Restaurant war Selbstbedienung mit Kantinenflair und ein bisschen Holzhütte drumherum. Der Spielbereich Abenteuer Alpe, war ganz nett. Aber ich würde für einen Wasserspielplatz mit drei, vier Rutschen und nett hergerichteten Klettergerüsten niemals Eintritt bezahlen. Vor allem keine 7,50€ für einen 3 jährigen und zusätzlich jeweils 5,50€ pro Elternteil. Es gab außerdem ein Streichelgehege mit Ziegen. Das hatte allerdings geschlossen, was vor dem Ticketkauf übrigens niemand erwähnt hat. Dieser Bereich ist für uns wirklich reinste Abzocke. Dee Eintrittspreis steht zu dem was geboten in keinerlei Relation. Am Interessantesten am Außenbereich waren jedoch die Alpakas. Und die kosten keinen Cent Eintritt. Wir werden nicht mehr kommen. Wir würden auch niemandem empfehlen, dorthin zu gehen. Im erweiterten Münchener Umland gibt es noch zwei andere Rodelbahnen. Auch mit Sessellift, dafür aber ohne derartige Schlangen. Und mit besserem Essen. Und man wird auch nicht mit dem Spielplatz übers Ohr gehauen.

Die Alpsee Bergwelt bietet ein abwechslungsreiches Erlebnis für alle, die Natur, Abenteuer und Entspannung kombinieren möchten. Schon die Auffahrt mit der Gondelbahn war ein Highlight. Die Aussicht auf die Allgäuer Berge und den tiefblauen Alpsee lässt einen direkt in Urlaubsstimmung kommen und macht Lust auf mehr. Oben angekommen, eröffnen sich zahlreiche Wanderwege für alle Schwierigkeitsgrade. Ich habe mich für eine größere Tour entschieden, die mich durch dichte Wälder und über idyllische Almen geführt hat. Die Beschilderung war dabei gut, sodass man sich problemlos orientieren konnte. Besonders beeindruckend war der Panoramablick auf die umliegenden Gipfel – ein perfektes Fotomotiv und eine tolle Möglichkeit, die Natur intensiv zu erleben. Nach der Wanderung war eine Einkehr angesagt, und die urigen Berggasthöfe bieten eine willkommene Gelegenheit, sich zu stärken. Die regionalen Spezialitäten, besonders die Allgäuer Käsesuppe, waren hervorragend und boten eine wohlverdiente Pause mit einem gemütlichen Flair. Zum Abschluss stand das absolute Highlight auf dem Programm: die Abfahrt mit dem Alpsee Coaster, Deutschlands längster Ganzjahres-Rodelbahn. Die rasante Fahrt zurück ins Tal machte einfach riesigen Spaß und sorgte für einen Adrenalin-Kick nach einem erlebnisreichen Tag. Der Mix aus Geschwindigkeit und den abwechslungsreichen Kurven ist perfekt – eine tolle Art, den Tag abzurunden. Zusammenfassend lässt sich sagen, dass die Alpsee Bergwelt ein perfektes Ziel für einen Tagesausflug ist. Die Kombination aus traumhaften Wanderwegen, leckeren Einkehrmöglichkeiten und einer spektakulären Talfahrt ist einzigartig und wird jedem Naturliebhaber und Abenteurer in Erinnerung bleiben.
