Wanderweg Geierlayschleife — Attraction in Kastellaun

Pretty cool to walk over this bridge with an amazing view. You can also hike further if you like. The walk to this bridge is easy and takes about 30 minutes from the several designated parking area's, because Its not allowed to park on the streets in the town. I found the fee of parking 1: 10 euro and parking 2: 8 euro quite high. The price is for the first 4 hours, after that price will increase. There are a few places along the route where you can have a bite to eat and drink for a reasonable price. The town itself has basically nothing else...

The suspension bridge is a must see and a must cross attraction but I came away a little disappointed. This is most likely to be because of the other amazing places we have been in Germany and this area is not quite as scenic. Still well worth a visit though and good exercise too, as once you work out the parking situation, you have around a 2k walk...

Really cool suspension bridge. It's free to visit but it is a flat 1.7 km walk from town to the bridge if anyone is wondering. Much longer than I was expecting and the views are nice.
