Came here on a warm August Sunday afternoon with my oldest daughter (almost 6 years old). We parked in the Parkplatz next to it, and walked up the paved stroller-friendly path to the tour, which which took about 3 minutes. I didn't realize that the tower costs 1 euro for anyone over the age of 12, so was glad the parking is so close when I had to go back for my wallet. I also didn't realize there would be a gift / liquor shop at the base of the tower. The platform on the top is in a circle encircling the covered stairwell, and is large but easily crowded once there are multiple groups of people up there. The stairs also are narrow and while it is possible to pass others coming the other direction, we chose to stop to let them by safely. I enjoyed this visit, especially with the close proximity of parking...
