We have visited this museum twice now, first as a couple and last week with the grandchildren. We really like the place and our granddaughter aged 5 loved it. We enjoyed visiting the houses from different places in yesteryear and we explained how people used to live to our granddaughter. We had a picnic lunch. There are plenty of places available for this purpose and also a very inviting restaurant and beer garden-for next time! There is a play park for children which our grandchildren enjoyed. After that we visited the indoor exhibition of everyday items from the past. The collection is very varied and extensive. There are sections on agricultural practice in the past as well as an old café-bar, old shops and even a dentist’s practice! The number of steps also poses a problem for people who have some mobility problems. I wonder if they sold part of the collection they could perhaps use the money raised to modernise the displays and make it more access? If it is just left as it is, it will struggle to attract visitors which would be a pity as it is a good collection. I would definitely return for a...

Read moreGreat Discovery. The artifacts displayed in this museum could be slightly more organized but overall it was very interesting. I recommend to go there when the weather is good and there is no rain. There are plenty of things to check - Ideal place for history buffs. There is also a German restaurant on the site. The entrance fee (10 Euros / discounts for kids) are reasonable in my opinion. One can spend at least...
