Wagenbrüchsee — Attraction in Krün

This is Karwendel Mountains, in front of Wagenbrüchsee right before golden hour. I got on my way in time. Love this place because it’s not crowded. You can relax and start enjoying nature.

🔴 I found afterward that this spot is on private property, made famous by Geo Tagging. Many people also make pilgrimages here. Much to the sorrow of the owner of this meadow. Hence my appeal to everyone who feels inspired by my photo and wants to visit this place. Please respect that it is a private property.

Take your rubbish with you and please do not enter the meadow between April 1st and September 30th. This is the period for preservation.

Literally magic happens here early mornings, trust me on this. I highly recommend this place early mornings when the sun and the clouds dances in perfect symphony in The Valley. It creates a serene peaceful ambience that can’t be explained in words. In my opinion one of the best locations in Bavaria! We missed this the first time around. From 2/E533, you will need to turn on “In Gerold”. From there, you will find a parking lot around the bend. You will need to pay 5 or 10 euro depending on how long you wish to stay. There is a short walk through the village before the hike to the lake starts.
