Vischering castle is magnificent and I truly loved my visit. It is a 100% worth a long drive. So be sure to arrive in time to gain entry to the museum, as they've a lot of cool things on display and good explanation in English about the castle's history, giving context to the impressive place. Remember to enjoy a stroll around the castle afterwards to take it in from all angles.
We also stopped by the cafe and enjoyed an iced coffee on a hot day. It was made from black coffee and softice, an approach we aren't familiar with, but nonetheless enjoyed very much!
