From the parking lot, the rock can be reached in 15-20 minutes via a steep forest path. The climb is worth it. The view over the Pfälzer Forest and Trifels Castle is fantastic. On a clear day, you can see the French Vosges to the south.

Der Slevogtfels ist auf dem Föhrlenberg gelegen. Er ist gut vom Parkplatz Ahlmühle zu erreichen. Ebenso ist der Slevogtfelsen ein Stop des Slevogtweges, welcher im Winzerdorf Leinsweiler startet. Er bietet einen traumhafte schönen Panoramablick auf die Reichsburg Trifels, sowie die Ruinen Anebos und Münz. Der Slevogtfels ist in meinen Augen eines der vielen Highlights auf dem Föhrlenberg.

Wenn ich Ahnung von Fotografie hatte, dann würde ich hier wahrscheinlich Stunden verbringen. Tolle Aussicht! Der Blick über den Pfälzer Wald in Richtung Trifels ist sicherlich einer der schöneren, obschon man zumindest halbwegs gut zu Fuß sein sollte. Er ist nicht schwer zu erreichen, aber festes Schuhwerk und immer schön die Augen dahin, wo man hin tritt sind verpflichtend.
