Silbersee — Attraction in Langenhagen

A great recreational area with big lake. One beach is a sand beach, other side is a beach for dogs and another side is a beach with a huge grill area. There is two big parking lots, one of them is under the tree and shady. Also there is a play ground for volleyball, for kids. People can chilling in the beer garden. I can't recommend it. I was there this evening hoping to cool down in peace after the hot day. The loud noise from the nearby motorway, the perpetually barking dogs on the dog beach and the drum group practicing nearby, combined with the cloud of grill smoke floating over the lake, was certainly not conducive to a peaceful evening in fresh air. Also the toilet was dirty. It's not unusual to see children abusing the ducks...
