Schöner See , ist ganzjährig ein guter See zum entspannen. Im Sommer ein toller Ort zum Baden ! Das Wasser ist super klar . Er bietet schöne Möglichkeiten zum Paddeln ,Rudern ,Stand-up paddeln und Ähnliches .Weiterhin gibt es Wanderwege . Das Ufer ist größtenteils von Bäumen und Mischwald eingefasst. Es gibt zahlreiche Vögel in Ufernähe .Unteranderem habe ich dort Kormorane , Reiher und zahlreiche andere Vögel gesehen . Es gibt am Ufer Campingplätze und mehrere Badestellen

Der Wanderweg um den Wurlsee wurde Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts vom Lychener Verschönerungsverein angelegt. Die Ilsenquelle ist leider etwas verwildert.

Sehr schöner klarer See zum Baden und Boot fahren. Leider ist der Seerundweg durch einen dreisten privaten Anwohner gesperrt worden und man muss einen Umweg um dessen Grundstück...
